About the role
As our Senior Frontend Developer at Xensam in Bucharest, you will have a hands-on mindset and a strong drive to solve some of the market’s most challenging problems. You’ll contribute across our entire product portfolio and jump in wherever your expertise is needed.

Responsibilities
You will design, develop, debug, test, and enhance high-quality frontend features and integrations using JavaScript and TypeScript. Furthermore you will:

• Design and implement visually appealing, modular, and reusable UI components and libraries for end-user features.
• Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, backend, and database developers to deliver great user experiences and ensure accessibility, and define REST API requirements for seamless integration.
• Apply modern security best practices and OWASP guidelines across all development activities.
• Continuously optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and loading times.
• Promote engineering excellence by reviewing peers’ work, providing constructive feedback, and enforcing best practices.
• Support team growth by sharing knowledge, maintaining clear documentation, and uplifting others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including debugging, testing, and optimizing modern web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React and state management libraries such as MobX.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, asynchronous programming patterns, and REST API integration.
• Proficient in Git or similar version control systems, and experienced with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, authentication protocols (OIDC, JWT), and effective error handling.
• Effective communicator, fluent in written and spoken English, and comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Bonus points if you:

• Have a full-stack background, working across both frontend and backend development.
