About the role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing engineering organization. In this role, you’ll be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling that powers our mission-critical systems. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and cyber security teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure platforms that accelerate delivery and improve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will design and maintain automation to improve configuration, deployment, and daily operations. You’ll build internal tools that enhance infrastructure reliability and operate large-scale virtualized environments to ensure secure and efficient delivery of compute, storage, networking, and platform services.

You will manage sensitive data through secure secret handling, maintain core platform components (systems, messaging, databases), and oversee packaging workflows and internal repositories.

A strong focus on observability is key, with responsibility for monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting. You will lead incident response and root cause analysis, drive continuous improvements while promote automation, reliability, and solid engineering practices in collaboration with other teams. The role also includes flexible working hours according to business needs.

Qualifications

Core experience

• 7+ years in Site Reliability Engineering.

• Strong experience operating and improving production systems.

• Confident working both independently and with teams.

Infrastructure and systems

• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g. OpenStack, libvirt, Proxmox).

• Strong Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience managing databases in production (e.g. PostgreSQL).

• Familiar with messaging systems (e.g. NATS).

• Experience with VMware ESXi or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of ZFS and storage optimization.

Automation and tooling

• Proficient in scripting (Python, Go, Bash).

• Experience with configuration management (Ansible or Puppet).

• Experience building automation for infrastructure and operations.

• Familiar with packaging and repositories (DEB, APT).

• Understanding of CI/CD and pipeline design.

Security and operations

• Experience managing secrets and access (e.g. Vault, OpenBao).

• Understanding of observability (monitoring, logging, alerting).

• Experience with incident response and root cause analysis.

• Experience working with SLO/SLI and reliability practices.
